Hello again: why I'm starting a blog
A new site, a new habit. What I plan to write about and why writing in public is part of building in public.
This is the second version of my website, and the first version of my blog.
The site used to be a business card: who I am, where I’ve worked, how to reach me. That’s fine, but a business card doesn’t compound. Writing does.
What I’ll write about
Three things, because that’s all I actually think about:
- Product clarity: how to cut a product down to the one thing it must do well.
- Founder-led distribution: getting your product in front of people without a marketing department.
- Simple systems: the boring infrastructure of getting things done without drowning in tools.
I’m building linkutm right now, so a lot of this will be field notes rather than theory. When something works, I’ll write about it. When something fails, I’ll write about that too. Those posts are usually more useful.
Why in public
Every founder I learn from writes. Not because they have spare time (they don’t), but because writing forces the kind of thinking that talking lets you skip. If I can’t explain a decision in a few paragraphs, I probably haven’t made it yet.
So: one post whenever I have something real to say. No schedule, no filler.
If you care about building thoughtful products, we’ll probably get along. Say hi.

Thanks for reading. If this resonated, tell me about it. Replies are the whole point of writing in public.
